Brent James is a 1995 graduate of Johnson Bible College where he earned his BS in Bible and Preaching Ministry.  While at Johnson he served as youth minister with the Community Christian Church in Etowah, TN from January of 1991 to September of 1992.  Following this ministry, Brent served with the Oak Grove Christian Church in Arden, NC as a weekend youth minister from October of 1992 through December 1994. 

In May of 1996 Brent  was called to his first full-time ministry joining the staff of the Syria Christian Church as youth minister where he served until August of 2002. 

In August of 2002 Brother Brent began working with us on staff as our youth minister. 

Brent and Amy were married August 1, 1992;  they have been blessed with three children:  Katelynn, David and Summer.

Brent says he enjoys spending time with his family, reading and collecting Nascar items (check out his office).
