Brent James is our Youth Minister. He is 40 years old and loves working with students. He is dedicated to teaching the students about the love of Christ.

Brent grew up in Keystone, IN on one of his grandpa’s farm. Helping take care of the livestock and working in the fields. Brent graduated from Southern Wells Jr. Sr. High School in 1990. While in High School Brent was involved in Cross Country, Basketball, Track, FFA and Choir.

Brent then went to Johnson Bible College where he got his Bachelor of Science in Ministry. While at Johnson Brent meet Amy Harker and was married on August 1^st 1992. Brent graduated from JBC in 1995 and Amy in 1996.

While at JBC, Brent served as a weekend Youth Minister for Community Christian Church in Etowah, TN. January 1991 – May 1992 Then at Oak Grove Christian Church in Arden, NC, where he was ordained. August 1992 – December 1994. Brent and Amy served as youth sponsors at Woodlawn Christian Church. Summer of 1995 – April 1996.

Brent was called into full time ministry in 1996 at the Syria Christian Church in Orleans, IN. Brent served there from May 1996 till August 2002. Then Brent and his family were called to Mechanicsburg Christian Church in August 2002 till Present.

Brent and Amy have three very fine teens.
