Transportation

The responsibilities of the Transportation Ministry are:

 

Maintaining church vehicle/bus

  • Vehicle operation safety/training development/orientation for approved drivers

  • Safety for rider’s procedure and enforcement

  • Forming relationships with riders

  • Oversee and carryout background checks for any driver & verify up to day driver’s license

  • Complete and store policy application form to drive bus

  • Keep a written route schedule

  • Complete and store consent form to ride the bus for adults and/or parents

  • Oversee that church vehicles maintenance needs are met

  • Ensure that there is an adult on the bus so that the children are being overseen

  • Annually review and obtain forms for drivers and volunteers

     

    Time Commitment:

    Transportation Ministry meets quarterly unless additional meetings are necessary.  Members are expected to help with responsibilities of the ministry.
