WELCOME TO OUR SITE!

We've been waiting for you!  It's true, because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of this special fellowship was sent by God Himself.  It's not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you in this way.  So, above all else, we want to express Christ's love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth.  We're eager to know you, and we're excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our lives.

It won't take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most.  Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth.  We reach out to you, as well.  Our doors are open and our hearts are open.  If you've been thinking, praying, searching and hoping for a place to belong, we say WELCOME!

For our visitors we welcome you to Mechanicsburg Christian Church.  We hope that you feel welcome and inspired by our worship.  There is a place here for you to know and serve Jesus Christ.

Children are important to us!  We provide a staffed nursery for babies and toddlers (up to 4-years of age), located thru the fellowship hall to the north in the education wing.  We have Kidz Worship for children 4-years thru 6th graders, downstairs in the Youth Worship area.  We also offer Youth Groups for pre-schoolers through high schoolers, every Sunday  evening at 5:30 to 7:00.

The Lord's Supper is served every Sunday morning according to Jesus' invitation to remember His death, burial and resurrection.  It is prepared for immersed believers in Christ.  If you are a Christian, you are welcome to partake of the bread and the cup as they are passed.

WE ARE LOCATED at 650 West Horton Road in Mechanicsburg.  We are only 6 minutes north of Lebanon, 8 minutes south of Frankfort and 15 minutes northeast of Thorntown.  Turn east off of State Road 39 next to Sigler's Restaurant come one block and you will see us as you get to the top of the hill.  Call us at 765-325-2772.

Dear Lord, 

Swing the doors of our church home wide, so all people will feel welcome and loved.  May the floor and walls be strong enough to carry the burdens of those who come. 

We pray no one leaves feeling less than when he entered.  May your love and peace cover and protect as each one departs.
